2-1B Delta was a masculine-programmed 2-1B-series medical droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton. The medical droid was one of millions used by the Galactic Empire, working throughout its military prison system. The droid eventually fled from the Empire while working in the Anoat sector's prison system. Taking on the Delta moniker, it worked with active rebel cells in the sector following the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. During this period, the Anoat sector was locked down by Imperial forces in the Iron Blockade in order to prevent the occupants from learning of the Empire's defeat at Endor and the death of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.
Several months into the blockade, which ended in 5 ABY, 2-1B Delta joined the crew of the Smuggler, a young member of an Uprising forming in the sector. The smuggler dispatched the medical droid on a variety of missions throughout the sector.
2-1B Delta had gray plating, yellow sensors, and stood 1.77 meters tall. The droid developed a severe distaste for the damage done to organic flesh by the Empire's weapons while working in the prison system, causing him to flee. He took on the Delta moniker in order to show he was more than just another worker drone in the system.
2-1B Delta was created for the 2015 mobile game Star Wars: Uprising, which was developed by Kabam.
