5-BT Threat Analysis Droid

The 5-BT was small and spherical in shape and was designed to accompany VIPs when they went on assignments. The 5-BT was fitted with a number of different sensors, which could be used to check food for poison, search for eavesdropping devices and locate any assassins. New 5-BTs were sold with a bracelet, which could be worn by the owner. If the droid detected a threat, it would then send a signal to the bracelet, which would cause the bracelet to vibrate, alerting the wearer to the potential danger.

The 5-BT was a precursor design to the Mark VII "Inquisitor" Series Seeker Droid and a number of other droid designs. It cost 17,490 credits new.
