The 975th Battalion, sometimes referred to as the 975th stormtrooper garrison, was a battalion composed of Imperial stormtroopers that served the Galactic Empire. This unit was under the command of the Tarkin Initiative and their duties included the protection of the Imperial kyber refinery located on Eadu. Frequently, the garrison was assigned to protect highly classified research endeavors.
