The AMT was an artillery repulsorcraft employed by the Trade Federation during the First Battle of Lok and the Invasion of Naboo in the year 32 BBY. It was particularly effective against air units, carrying 2 missile launchers.
Ten AMTs were deployed by the Trade Federation against Naboo forces during the attempt to destroy a resistance base located in the Naboo training canyon. Five AMTs were destroyed by the pilot Rhys Dallows, of Bravo Squadron as he escorted the Zoomer through the canyon, and the other five were destroyed when Dallows found his escorts.
AMTs appear in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Starfighter. They are also mentioned in the game's strategy guide. The player, in the role of Rhys Dallows, is not required to take out all seven tanks in the mission, only those threatening the escorts. Doing so completes a bonus objective, rewarding the player with one of the missions's medals.
