ARC program

The ARC program, also known simply as ARC training, and alternatively known as the Clone Commander training program, was a training program that certain clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic underwent in order to turn them into leaders by developing their individual thinking. Additionally, all Advanced Recon Commandos received the training program prior to attaining their status. The training also served to prepare Advanced Recon Commandos for the special missions they would be tasked with carrying out. CC-8826 "Neyo" and CT-7567 "Rex" were one of the first one hundred graduates of the ARC program.
