Their transport across hyperspace typically involved the use of hyperdrive pods, which are droid-controlled pods equipped with hyperdrives designed for one-way journeys.
Furthermore, it featured sophisticated audio and visual receptors, along with a deployable manipulator arm employed for tasks like door operation and turbolift usage. For accessing public information networks, it was equipped with a computer input jack.
Upon successfully locating the intended recipient, a spoken passcode is required before the droid proceeds to play back the message.
