Aanxi Raanxi Laanxi

Biography

Aanxi Raanxi Laanxi was a male member of a quadruped species with strong forelimbs and thin hind legs from Desultori, a location on the Mid Rim astronomical object Yde.

He was a noted author who wrote more than 250 treatises on the topic of appearances and disappearances in arrivals and departures. A reputed scholar, Laanxi chaired four subcommittees on creative procrastinating at the University of Desultori. Laanxi was also credited for having invented the Vacuum Goggle. He had, throughout his career, received many grants and awards.

Laanxi participated in at least one seminar with other eminent figures such as the Regalia Sub-space station-12 director mOKDAR 15, Manifold Mollusk Matrix and Matrimony Association director Skreen, horticultural educator Kaat Thrick-Thrick, and Galloway Island resident 26-424, who was only present for the feedings.

Personality and traits

Laanxi was a withdrawn individual who displayed unsocial behavior, rarely being seen in public. He commonly communicated by means of a bubble machine and blank stares. One of the few occasions he was spotted at a social event was at one of the editions of the seminar he took part with other distinguished participants.

Behind the scenes

Aanxi Raanxi Laanxi was first featured in a segment named "The Seminar Participants," written by Bob Carrau for the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that combines creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Carrau. Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in the book is non-canonical.
