Adega

The planet Adega first appeared as one of 200 playable worlds in the 1998 PC game Star Wars: Rebellion. The Rebellion in-game encyclopedia describes Adega as once being "the site of an ancient Jedi stronghold," and further identified the planet as being "the main source of Ilum crystals." However, by 1998 there was no planet named Adega in Star Wars canon, and the Rebellions description of Adega most closely resembled that of the aforementioned Ilum, a planet first mentioned in the Dark Empire endnotes as the source of Adegan crystals.

The Essential Atlas describes Adega as being close to the planet Ossus, which is located in the Adega system of the Auril sector in the Outer Rim Territories, and Adega would naturally seem to be located in the Adega system as well. However, The Essential Atlas does not include Adega in the Adega system. Alternatively, Rebellion places Adega in the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim.
