The Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization, or A.C.L.O. for short, was a pro-Rebel Alliance medical supply organization active on the planet Talus during the Galactic Civil War.
The Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization operated out of an office on the twin world of Talus, in the Corellian system. The organization was officially a peaceful political group and medical supply company. However, during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance, the organization was affiliated with the Rebellion and was considered an enemy of the Galactic Empire. In addition to its medical activities, the A.C.L.O. also maintained paramilitary troops, slicers and saboteurs.
After the Battle of Yavin, the Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization sought to join the Rebel Alliance on a permanent basis. In 1 ABY, the A.C.L.O. representative Trezya Nenei met Rebel Captain Vayde Quellium in Dearic to negotiate the integration of the A.C.L.O. in the Rebel Alliance.
During the same time, the Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization was in conflict with the Nightstrike Soldier Hegemony, a Talusian mercenary organization affiliated with the Empire. Similarly to the A.C.L.O., the N.S.H. was also negotiating its integration into the Imperial Military. However, the negotiations were disturbed when A.C.L.O. slicers planted information that almost ruined the reputation of the N.S.H. commander Galiir Ac Yandar. Imperial Colonel Ekirk dispatched a spacer to raid the A.C.L.O. office. The Imperial spacer killed Leeta Poandeu, the slicer who was responsible for slicing Yandar's system, and then assisted Mark Hieks, a N.S.H. covert operative infiltrated in the A.C.L.O. office. The spacer also slained A.C.L.O. terrorists who sabotaged Imperial shipments.
In the meantime, N.S.H. troops shut down an A.C.L.O. clinic and imprisoned the Wookiee medical officer Syirlabradawk. They also confiscated a shipment of medical supplies before its delivery to Rebel forces on Talus. Captain Quellium and Trezya Nenei therefore sent a spacer to the N.S.H. base. The spacer was recommended by CorSec officer Dathnaeya Loessin who wanted to determine what kind of people the Rebellion had chosen to work with. The spacer assaulted the N.S.H. base and managed to retrieve the medical shipment and rescue the medical officer, killing many N.S.H. enforcers in the process. The death of so much N.S.H. mercenaries later allowed the A.C.L.O. to easily ambush an unit of N.S.H. enforcers and stole their shipment of Imperial medical computers.
The Aggregate Civil Liberties Organization appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The A.C.L.O. was added to the game as part of the "Crisis of Allegiance" arc with the release of "Chapter 2: The Talus Incident," on August 1, 2006.
