During the Clone Wars, Ahsoka Tano possessed a lightsaber that emitted a green blade. This lightsaber, radiating a vibrant green hue, was constructed under the guidance of the venerable droid Professor Huyang when she was a very young Padawan, after her return from acquiring her Adegan crystal on Ilum. Tano employed this lightsaber in numerous Clone Wars engagements, including those on Teth, Geonosis, Pantora, Lola Sayu, Felucia, and Mon Calamari. Later, she also used a lightsaber shoto in conjunction with it.
Given the limited possessions of Jedi, Ahsoka developed a strong attachment to her lightsaber, leading to considerable distress when a Patrolian pickpocket stole it. The lightsaber was then sold to the infamous criminal Nack Movers, only to be taken by Cassie Cryar after she murdered him. After pursuing Cryar across rooftops and aboard a train, Ahsoka, aided by Jedi Master Tera Sinube, successfully recovered her lightsaber. Sinube encouraged her to share her experience with a group of younglings to emphasize the lightsaber's significance to its owner. This was the lightsaber she used while focusing on Form IV and Form V lightsaber combat. Unusually, she held it in a reverse Shien style grip, differing from most Jedi.
Subsequently, during the war, she fashioned a yellowish-green Lightsaber shoto to complement her original blade, employing both in various battles across the galaxy, such as those on Kiros, Kadavo, Florrum, and Onderon. Around 20 BBY, Tano lost both lightsabers when circumstances forced her into hiding; she dropped her shoto when a rocket explosion knocked her down and her original lightsaber during a dueling match against Barriss Offee on Coruscant. Ultimately, she lost faith in the Jedi Order, and departed from that life, leaving behind both of her lightsabers.
