Arda II held a neutral stance during the Galactic Civil War. After the spy Mag Doum reported to Darth Vader that there was a Rebel presence on planet, the rulers of Arda II openly supported the Rebellion in fear of Imperial reprisal. The planet was ruled by the Qualo.
It was one of the Gordian Reach planets invaded in the Stenax Massacres of 4 ABY, in which millions died.
Tun Wala was a major city on the planet. It was the source of T-6 diodems.
