Several years prior to the Battle of Yavin, the rebellious cadet Zare Leonis and his Lothalite friend Beck Ollet infiltrated Area Null in order to rescue Zare's sister Dhara Leonis. They were aided by their friend Merei Spanjaf and several members of the Spectres rebel cell.
