Possessing immense wealth, Aricos Dreleene was the Imperial Moff in charge of the Toblain sector. He desired a genuine Surronian L19a freighter to showcase at Coruscant conferences. However, Dreleene opted for the less costly and exclusive L19, called the First Edition, falsely believing it was an L19a. Upon realizing he had purchased a standard production vessel, he lacked the time to acquire a truly luxurious one. Instead, he spent 220,000 credits on outlaw techs and slicers to forge the First Edition's identification. He successfully deceived Imperial dignitaries, claiming the heavy freighter was necessary to transport his extensive collections.
While traversing deep space aboard his ship, Dreleene was ambushed along the Warchigade trade route by privateers, who mistakenly believed he possessed a genuine L19a. These pirates, associated with the Alliance to Restore the Republic, seized both Dreleene and his vessel. Dreleene's protests about the ship being a fake were recorded and disseminated across Cynabar's InfoNet by the Alliance within a week. Consequently, the Empire repudiated Dreleene and rescinded his Moffship within a month, leaving him to languish in a Rebel prison camp.
