The company was comprised of three armor platoons, and a heavy weapons repulsorlift platoon, along with command and support elements. Companies equipped with heavy tanks numbered two hundred men, sixteen tanks, and nine heavy weapons repulsorlift vehicles. Companies outfitted with light tanks had two hundred and thirty two men, twenty-eight tanks, and nine repulsorlifts. The captain commanded the company from a modified heavy tank.
An attack armor company could be augmented by the addition of two repulsorlift platoons, an armor platoon, and a line platoon.
