B'arin Apma dedicated his life to the principles of brotherhood, stamina, and loyalty, and, believing them to be as essential qualities in a superior soldier as marksmanship and courage, worked to instill them in the clone troopers he trained.
Pale-skinned, gray-eyed, and brown-haired, Apma wore his hair short and sported a narrow goatee on his chin. He wore silver-colored Mandalorian armor over a gray jumpsuit, and was equipped with two WESTAR-34 blaster pistols and a Z-6 jetpack.
B'arin Apma was created for the 2007 Entertainment Earth-exclusive seven-action figure pack "Republic Elite Forces: Mandalorians & Omega Squad," part of Hasbro's Star Wars: 30th Anniversary Collection of action figures.
The actual figure comes with a Z-6 jetpack instead of the JT-12 jetpack style shown in the promo pictures and box art. It is suspected the figure may have originally been intended to be Walon Vau, but the head did not fit the character so the idea may have been scrapped.
