In the late 50s BBY, the Melida, one of the two warring factions on the planet Melida/Daan along with the Daan, invaded the village where the Daan child Nield was living with his cousin at the time. His cousin escaped the village, taking Nield with her to the city of Zehava. Later, in 44 BBY, Nield's friend Cerasi would recount the struggles of his childhood, including this battle, to Jedi Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi.
