Battle of Skorrupon

The battle

At some point during the Imperial Period, Arani Korden, Deel Surool and Rorworr confronted High Inquisitor Volytar in his private retreat on Skorrupon. They intercepted the Imperial Inquisitor while he was trying to board his private shuttle and escape to his orbiting Star Destroyer. Eventually, they battled Volytar who surrounded himself with eight destroyer droids in a room filled with pop-up grenade traps.

Aftermath

Some time after the battle, Korden, Surool and Rorworr became known as the "heroes of Skorrupon" and eventually parted ways.

Korden returned to her homeworld of Naboo and became a New Republic senator.

Surool used his new celebrity status to become a holovid star, until a major spice scandal forced him to disappear into the criminal underworld where he became a crime lord.

With the fall of the Empire at the Battle of Endor, Rorworr passed up a position within the New Republic to become an independent explorer. He took his ship, a modified Svelte-class shuttle, on a grand tour of the galaxy. He then proceeded to explore the galaxy alone, mourning the loss of his friend Sia-Lan Wezz.

The Battle of Skorrupon was first mentioned in Galactic Campaign Guide, a Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement published by Wizards of the Coast in August 2003.

Galactic Campaign Guide implied that Sia-Lan Wezz was killed at the Battle of Skorrupon. This was later changed with the release of the comic book Star Wars: Purge in December 2005, which showed the Jedi's death at the hands of Darth Vader during the Conclave on Kessel. The 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia confirmed that she managed to remain hidden from the Imperial Inquisitors and that she was killed by Darth Vader on Kessel.
