The Swarm War saw a significant event in 36 ABY: the coup on Thyferra. In this event, Thyferra, a planet vital for its bacta supply to the galaxy's needs, was overtaken by a coalition of Killiks and Vratix who were addicted to black membrosia. To prevent this takeover, Jedi Master Corran Horn and a squad of Jedi Knights were sent to intervene. However, due to a miscommunication that led to a delay caused by Gilad Pellaeon's forces, they were unable to prevent the Killiks from successfully seizing power.
