Bimiza tree

The bimiza tree, a fragrant and towering tree species, thrived on Garqi. This verdant agriworld, situated within the Cassandran Worlds, was its native habitat. These trees flourished abundantly, creating extensive rainforests, which prompted the indigenous Garqians to employ slash-and-burn agriculture for land clearing. Following crop cultivation in the fertile ground enriched by the bimiza, the land was abandoned, allowing the bimiza forests to naturally regenerate. In Pesktda, Garqi's capital city, imposing bimizas served as roadside plantings along main streets and as dividers between housing areas. Furthermore, the trees provided the namesake for Bimiza Hill, a district of tapcafes located close to Pesktda Port.

Production Notes

The bimiza tree originated in Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds, a roleplaying game resource released by Wizards of the Coast during 2004.
