Blackthorne Publishing, or Blackthorne Comics, was a small, independent comic-book publishing house known for producing comics based upon famous licensed properties such as Robotech, Transformers and G.I. Joe. Blackthorne has produced three Star Wars 3-D comic books, with a fourth, fifth and sixth planned and started, but ultimately canceled. One of the canceled issues, #6, was going to be about the "Spies of Botha." To date, these are the only Star Wars comics to be rendered in 3-D.
