Bols appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. Bols were made craftable mounts for players with the release of the "Publish 4" on November 13, 2003. This feature was removed from the game upon the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. However, it was finally restored with the "Chapter 6" update, released on May 22, 2007.
