Species Tanje could appear as included Aqualish, Bothans, Bith, Humans, Rodians, Trandoshans, Twi'leks, and Zabrak of either gender, and Devaronians, Ishi Tib, Nikto, and Sullustans of the male gender. The quest dialogue identified Tanje as female, however the canonical species cannot be definitively determined in the Star Wars Legends continuity. In one portion of the quest dialogue, Boona Tanje was erroneously referred to as Boonja Tanje.
