In 8 ABY, shortly after the warlord's death during a battle on the Unknown Regions planet Quethold between his forces and the Empire of the Hand, Imperial Senior Captain Voss Parck recalled to Grand Admiral Thrawn that the campaign occurred shortly after Esva's incursion into the Galactic Empire's Outer Rim Territories Candoras sector. The Braccio campaign shared its name with the Braccio system, a Wild Space star system.
