The smuggler Dannen Lifehold has one last job before he can pay off his debt to the loan shark Linkaas. Linkaas sends two of his goons, Bakk and Chokk, to kill him before he can complete it. Along the way, Lifehold meets the Tinnell Purr, a genius mechanic.
