The Brother Claw Gang was a criminal gang led by the crime lord Brother Claw that had territory on the planet Burnin Konn. he gang consisted primarily of humans, wielding blaster pistols or vibroswords. During the Iron Blockade of the Anoat sector where Burnin Konn was located, the Galactic Empire shot down the Trade Spine League starship Mother of Pearl when it tried to leave Burnin Konn, causing the ship to crash in Brother Claw's territory.
The crime lord "Happy" Dapp then sent a young smuggler into the gang's territory to salvage the cargo of the Mother of Pearl. The smuggler entered the gang's territory and successfully fought through a large number of Brother Claw Gang members before reaching the ship and recovering some of its cargo for Dapp.
