C. Cantwell held the position of Senior Structural Engineer at multiple research, development, and engineering centers, including the Imperial Navy Research, Development and Engineering Center, the Corellian Engineering Corporation Research, Development and Engineering Center, the Incom Corporation Research, Development and Engineering Center, and the SoroSuub Corporation Research, Development and Engineering Center.

Biography

He contributed to the designs of several vehicles, such as the Avenger, the X-34 landspeeder, and the T-65 X-wing starfighter. He also worked on the foundational design of the YT-1300 light freighter that was later modified into the famous Millennium Falcon.

Behind the scenes

The character's name is an homage to Colin Cantwell, a model maker who contributed to many well-known vehicles from the original Star Wars trilogy.
