Camden

A trade world, Camden saw intense traffic of small freighters. Its main spaceport, which served as an important fringe society crossroads point, was commonly known as "Snakes' Den." Adjacent to the spaceport was a restaurant and bar named the Jade Simian.

At some point by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the alien known as Eyes became an information broker who maintained a large network of informants. Eyes, who was initially based out of "Snakes' Den," eventually began holding organized meetings at the Jade Simian with people interested in trading information with them. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Rebel Alliance General Airen Cracken noted Eyes' operations on Camden in an entry dedicated to them that was part of a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives.

Camden was created by Sean Fannon and was introduced in Cracken's Rebel Operatives, a 1994 West End Games sourcebook published for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Camden system, and therefore the planet itself, in grid square O-5.
