Camp Culroon was an Imperial research base that had been set up on the world of Zaloriis prior to 3 ABY. The base was secluded away from population centers such as Zaloriis City, and was protected by a wall. The base had two troop centers, four watch towers, a power core, a Research Center, and a landing pad.
The AT-AT Blizzard 1, designed by Colonel Veers was constructed at the camp. Darth Vader rescued Colonel Veers from the Rebels who had captured him. Veers directed Vader to lead him back to Culroon where he took control of Blizzard 1 and part of the base's defense force. They then returned to Fondor II, a nearby Imperial base where Blizzard 1 was outfitted for the assault on Zaloriis City.
Camp Culroon appears in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds during the Darth Vader campaign. The campaign is also included in the game's 2002 expansion pack, Clone Campaigns.
