Cantham House meetings

The Cantham House meetings, also referred to as the Cantham House talks, were meetings between members of the Delegation of 2,000 during the Clone Wars. The Delegation of 2,000 was composed of senators in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic that began to counter Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine's growing political powers. The meetings shared their name with Cantham House, the location of Bail Organa's office on Coruscant.

When the Galactic Republic was transformed into the Galactic Empire and several members of the Delegation of 2,000 were arrested on charges of treason and conspiracy, Mon Mothma and Bail Organa continued the meetings between themselves, in order to find ways to oppose Palpatine. After the rise of the Galactic Empire and growing rebellion against it, the Cantham House meetings continued to take place, now with Leia Organa also participating.
