Located beneath the city of Theed and the Great Grass Plains, these caves were a notorious location for sando aqua monsters. Some of its underwaterways led into the Solleu River which ran through Theed city.
While attempting to reach Theed and warn Queen Padmé Amidala of the Trade Federation invasion, Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi treated with the Gungans of Otoh Gunga to utilize a bongo to travel through the planet's core. Along with navigator Jar Jar Binks, the Jedi passed through the Caves of Eleuabad, encountering a sleeping sando aqua monster which they barely escaped before following the underwaterways into Theed.
