Celena was a human female who founded an anti-violence artist commune on the planet Nooroyo. At some point, five Torada Collective Naboo artists—including the man Kharl and the woman Antraya, who was the sister of the planet Naboo's incumbent queen, Jamillia—left their homeworld to join the commune. In 22 BBY, Naboo's senator—Padmé Amidala—and her secret paramour, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker, met with Celena in the commune, having been sent by Jamillia to bring the Torada Collective artists back to Naboo. Celena led the pair through the compound and introduced them to Kharl before leaving them to talk.
The human woman Celena lived during the Republic Era. At some point, she established an anti-violence artist commune on the planet Nooroyo. Celena personally managed the residents living in the commune's homes, requiring that the artists staying there adopt a peaceful lifestyle as they practiced their crafts. Residents were also expected to maintain the artist commune's gardens and abide by its other rules, such those surrounding the food they consumed, with any disputes being handled by Celena. At some point, five Torada Collective Naboo artists—including the man Kharl and the woman Antraya, who was the sister of the planet Naboo's incumbent queen, Jamillia—left their homeworld to join the commune. On Nooroyo, the Naboo artists integrated into the commune under Celena's leadership and formed an attachment to their newfound home.
Following the start of the Clone Wars between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 22 BBY, Naboo's senator—Padmé Amidala—and her secret paramour, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker, flew the former's Nubian yacht to the commune. Upon entry, Celena welcomed the pair, though her demeanor stiffened upon learning that Jamillia had sent them to bring the Torada Collective artists home. The woman agreed to bring them to the artists, leading them along one of the commune's pathways.
She then further explained some of the rules its residents followed but eventually hinted to the pair that she did not wish to reveal more information about the artist commune, as neither intended to stay long. Celena then entered and argued with Kharl, eventually escorting him out to speak with Amidala and Skywalker before returning to the house before they began conversing. Though the other artists ultimately refused to leave, Antraya opted to reluctantly depart Celena's artist commune to reunite with Jamillia on Naboo.
Celena led an anti-violence commune that welcomed all beings who wished to practice their crafts without oversight. She felt that those staying as residents on her property needed to follow its rules and handled any disputes that arose between visitors herself. Though welcoming to Amidala and Skywalker initially, after learning why they had come, she adopted a more stiff demeanor. Celena had porcelain skin.
Celena appeared in Queen's Hope, a 2022 young-adult novel written by E. K. Johnston.
