Celestials were a group known for their singing. During a job on Kullgroon, in 10 BBY Lando Calrissian compared the singing voice of Naaruu, a individual who threatened Lando, who Lando subsequently killed and took his hide as a cape, to the sweetest of Celestials.
Celestials where introduced into canon with a mention in the 2018 comic Lando - Double or Nothing 2, written by Rodney Barnes and pencilled by Paolo Villanelli. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Celestials where first mentioned, albeit unnamed in the 1983 novel Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, written by L. Neil Smith. The Celestials were first named by Troy Denning in his 2005 novel Dark Nest I: The Joiner King. The Celestials made their first appearance in Overlords, a 2011 episode of Season Three of the TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the Legends continuity, the Celestials were the same as the Force wielders of Mortis, however, no canonical connection has been made.
