Charlie was a Cargo ferry employed by Airam Clan leader Tamaron during the Galactic Civil War. The Cargo ferry was part of Tamaron's arrangement at The Drift to restock the Rebel Alliance with new Warheads. However, T-wings lead by Ilay a rival clan leader and ally with the Empire's Task Force Vengeance arrived to attack the rendezvous area, followed by Imperial-class Star Destroyer Wasp hoping to stop the operation, but X-wings from Rogue and Gold Squadrons provided fighter support to complete the transaction between both Airam and Rebel ships and all cargo ferries, including Charlie would escape into Hyperspace.
