Choke-collars were illegal devices used by both criminals and Imperial Intelligence operatives around the time the Alliance to Restore the Republic was formed. The device was fitted around one's neck, and would, when activated, constrict, killing the wearer. They also included a function which would kill the wearer if the individual who affixed the collar was killed. Ysanne Isard was known to use them.
