Chomm was a Weequay male criminal who lived on Tatooine during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. In the year 3643 BBY, he visited the cantina of Tookreek, a lieutenant in the gang of Diago Hixan. Tookreek planned to send Chomm to retrieve a krayt dragon fang that Diago's lieutenants needed to possess to be able to meet with the crime lord.
However, Chomm attempted to threaten Jedi Knight Nariel Pridence into leaving Tookreek's Cantina, unaware she was a Jedi. Despite Pridence's attempts to defuse the situation, Chomm and his men her and were killed.
