Cold Brew Black Caf was added to the menu of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in July of 2021. It was later introduced at Disney's Hollywood Studios's Galaxy's Edge, where it was sold at Kat Saka's Kettle starting on May 31, 2022. At Hollywood Studios, guests can order the beverage with chocolate liqueur, making it an alcoholic beverage.

The menu description at Disneyland is "Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs." The description at Disney's Hollywood Studios is similar, reading "Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs." The description of the Spiked Cold Brew Black Caf, as served at Hollywood Studios, is "Joffrey's Coffee™ Cold Brew with Chocolate Liqueur topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs."
The chocolate puffs which top the drink have been compared to the popular America cereal Cocoa Puffs. For short while in 2023, the chocolate puffs at Hollywood Studios were replaced by a different chocolate cereal compared to the American cereal Cocoa Krispies. The original puffs were later reinstated to the drink.
