The fortress was destroyed in 33 BBY by a nuclear attack ordered by Naboo King Ars Veruna (but masterminded by Darth Sidious to eliminate his Sith Master). Plagueis barely managed to escape the bombardment and was retrieved by Jabba Desilijic Tiure in the Hutt's starship Star Jewel.
