Daminia

By 3959 BBY, Daminia was a part of the "civilized galaxy," the territory that had been widely explored by the Galactic Republic. At some point, ancient Sith Lords harvested on Daminia the damind crystals, which could be found in the galaxy by 3956 BBY. During the Jedi Civil War of 3959 BBY–3956 BBY, Daminia fell within the territory controlled by the empire founded by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Revan.

Daminia was first mentioned in the 2003 BioWare video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide, a 2008 roleplaying sourcebook published by Wizards of the Coast for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, erroneously referred to the damind lightsaber crystals as the "daminia" crystals. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Daminia system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square Q-7.
