Around 3712 BBY, the Sith Lord Darth Ikoral embarked on an expedition to find more Sith pureblood colonies. A staunch believer in the purity of Sith blood, Ikoral took a number of purebloods with him aboard his flagship Red Reaper. After Darth Ikoral's fleet went missing and the Sith Lord was presumed dead, Ikoral returned seventy years after his fleet first set off and attacked both the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic.
