Darth Sanguis went off to the Unknown Regions in search of eternal life and was not to be seen again for years, as no one knew his location.
Darth Noctyss, also in search of immortality, made her way to Exegol where she found Sanguis, though decrepit and unrecognizable, and did not realize it was him. Sanguis became her servant and apprentice for a short time. The ritual found by Noctyss on Exegol required her to sacrifice a living being, and Sanguis was the only living thing the female Sith could find. She killed Sanguis and did receive eternal life, but in a very different way than expected. Noctyss became the same creature very similar to Sanguis, and then realized Sanguis' fate. Noctyss lived the rest of her days as a deformed monster, alone and immortal, on Exegol.
Darth Sanguis appeared in 2020 in "A Life Immortal," a story within the book Dark Legends, written and illustrated by George Mann and Grant Griffin, respectively.
