The Deneba bush was a predatory species of bush that was native to Deneba. A semi-sentient plant that disguised itself as a tree in order to lure its prey, the bush would pick up dead, discarded leaves and hold them on its branches. Unwary passersby would soon find themselves the object of the plant's next meal.
Its leafy disguise worked so well that, in 32 BBY, one of the bushes was able to take by surprise and, before the hapless henchman could scream, devour the Dug mercenary Khiss in Gardulla's pleasure garden, within the walls of her palace on Tatooine, near the Dune Sea.
