Based on the Denon and Ardru, the Denon-Ardru Mutual was present on many planets of the galaxy like Ord Sigatt.
Although the influx of credits that were brought to worlds were welcomed by the natives, many beings complained that Denon-Ardru Mutual would soon bring in their own security forces to protect their investments. These security forces were often ruthless in their attempts to defend the mines, and many worlds experienced small rebellions as the natives tried to fight back against corporate oppression. These rebellions were eventually put down when Denon-Ardru Mutual found ways to take over the local governments, implementing new laws that allowed them to confiscate weapons and steal land from colonists.
The operations of Denon-Ardru Mutual were exposed by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, about eleven years before the Invasion of Naboo, during their search for the missing refinery vessel Hardy Harrow. A senator from Denon had reported the ship missing, fearing that the crew had been captured or killed by pirates. The Jedi discovered that the ship carried the corporation's personnel on Ord Sigatt arrested and sent back to Denon in the ship.
Further investigation revealed that the senator who had made the initial report had provided a large percentage of the finances used to establish the operations on Ord Sigatt.
