The battle resulted in a victory for the Republic Defense Coalition. While on the space station Starlight Beacon shortly before the Battle of Galov later in the same year, Avar Kriss—the Jedi marshal of the station—reported the engagement against the Nihil in the Dreighton Nebula during a briefing to update the Jedi and members of the defense coalition on the status of Operation Counterstrike.
