Enviro-engineering was a type of science related to the creation and replication of different environments. Samera Ra-oon, the coordinator of the Valo Republic Fair, described the fair's sky-islands as a "marvel" of enviro-engineering because they were able to replicate the cold environment of Rhinnal in Valo's summer heat.
