Marda Ro was a member of the Path who was friends with Fel Ix and his family and helped both with the Naming ceremony and caring for their children. The same year as the Naming ceremony, she visited the family to say goobye as she was leaving the Path compound on Dalna. Fel Ix comforted her when she said they were her family too, which he agreed with and recognized. Fel Ix and Er Dal then gathered their children while Ferize and Ro went to investigate a strange sound.
