Because the CGI representation of this being was fashioned utilizing the pre-existing peko peko design from Episode I, and then filled with the identical blue material found inside a gelagrub's body, Star Wars Insider calls this species the "gummy peko peko," though it is likely a production-only name, and not its actual designation within the fictional universe.
