Finger cakes were a small type of cake edible by the Evereni species. At some point no earlier than 379 BBY, a feast was held on the Gaze Electric, a starship belonging to Marda Ro—the Evereni founder of a group of marauders who would eventually become the Nihil—for which a being serving Ro baked finger cakes frosted with ground palm sugar. During the feast, Vika Faer—an Evereni who was staying with Ro's raiders—came over to Ro to sit with her, bringing Ro a small plate of the finger cakes. Ro took one of the finger cakes and nibbled on it throughout their exchange.
Ro later mentioned the finger cakes in a recording she made for her descendants. By 252 BBY, during his youth, Ro's great-great-grandson Marchion Ro had listened to her memoirs, including the message where finger cakes were mentioned.
