First attack on the Son-tuul Pride

In 0 ABY, the enforcer of the Galactic Empire, Darth Vader launched the first attack on the Son-tuul Pride on the jungle planet Son-tuul. Imperial forces tracked an Twi'lek to the Pride's den, storming the base with stormtroopers. Although the Pride's leader, a Rodian, released a on the Imperial forces, he was nonetheless killed with the rest of the group. In the aftermath, stormtroopers opened a vault to discover a hoard of credits that had been amassed over many years, which Vader ordered them to confiscate.

After, Vader met with the Rodian's Hutt competitor Sutha, who served Jabba the Hutt. Vader and Sutha agreed upon a mutually beneficial relationship between the Empire and the Hutt Cartel, with the Empire eliminating competitors like the Son-tuul Pride to open up new markets in return for the Hutts supplying the Empire.
