The Galactic Representative Commission was a branch of the Galactic Republic's Senate. Made up of junior Senators who represented the minority races on their homeworlds, the Commission allowed for a wide range of viewpoints to be addressed, not just the condensed versions some Senators maintained in order to remain efficient. Jar Jar Binks was appointed to this organization, eventually becoming the Senior Representative of Naboo.
