Galara tealeaf

Galara tealeaf was a warm beverage that was the favorite drink of Pathfinder navigator Qilori. In 19 BBY, the Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," remembered that Qilori liked the beverage and gave him a mug of galara tealeaf while he and the navigator traveled to the Unknown Regions planet Primea aboard the former's freighter. Before arriving at Primea, Qilori took a last sip of the beverage.

In 18 BBY, Qilori stored a flask of galara tealeaf in a warmer aboard the Kilji war cruiser Anvil shortly before the war cruiser's destruction, which he escaped aboard an escape pod. After Thrawn rescued Qilori and brought him to the Paccosh-commandeered Nikardun blockade frigate Aelos, the Pathfinder drank galara tealeaf.

Galara tealeaf first appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first volume in Timothy Zahn's Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
